Psychologist

Vanessa is a registered psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology from Monash University and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has a strong background in forensic mental health and brings with her a heartfelt commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychological care.

Working primarily with adult clients from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and sexual orientations, Vanessa supports individuals experiencing drug and alcohol addictions, anxiety, grief, depression, stress, anger management issues, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Her practice is grounded in a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has a particular passion for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a structured, goal-focused approach proven to be highly effective across numerous psychological concerns.

Vanessa cultivates a supportive, nurturing environment and uses gentle humour when appropriate to help clients relax and engage. She’s dedicated to tailoring each intervention to the unique needs of every individual. She values authenticity and collaboration—creating a safe, inclusive space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. Vanessa walks alongside her clients through each stage of therapy, empowering them to build resilience, gain insight, and make meaningful changes in their lives.

Wednesdays: 8:00am - 3:00pm

Fridays: 8:00am - 2:00pm

Every 2nd Saturday: 9:00am – 12:30pm
