Susan Nguyen is a bilingual (English and Vietnamese) psychologist who holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical). She is currently completing her Clinical Registrar programme to gain specialist endorsement in clinical psychology.
With extensive experience across private practice, schools, and community settings.
She has a proven track record of working independently to establish high-quality clinical and intake processes, ensuring that every family receives structured and compassionate care from their very first appointment.
Susan is skilled in a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and DBT-informed skills. She adopts a human-centred and trauma-informed approach, focusing on empowering people to navigate emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges.
As a first-generation Vietnamese-Australian, Susan brings a culturally sensitive lens to her practice. She highly values multidisciplinary collaboration, frequently working alongside families, teachers, and allied health teams to achieve holistic outcomes for her clients.
Outside of her clinical work, Susan is an enthusiastic cat lover and the proud owner of two sibling cats. She is a strong advocate for animal welfare and loves encouraging others to consider adopting their future pets from animal shelters.
