Senay Hasan

Clinical Psychologist

Senay is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Senay has worked in a variety of clinical settings throughout her career as a psychologist, including acute/sub-acute hospital wards, public mental health services and private practice.

She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy and uses these modalities to assess mental health and tailor a treatment plan unique to her clients’ needs. Senay works with a variety of clients and mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, grief & loss, relationship difficulties and managing stress & wellbeing.

Senay has a special interest in perinatal psychology and has completed the Perinatal Mental Health Program at The University of Sydney. She is also listed on the Centre of Perinatal Excellence’s (COPE) directory of Perinatal Psychologists. Senay also has a special interest in aging mental health and has worked with aging clients across multiple roles in her career, her most recent role being in a public mental health service dedicated to aging psychiatric patients.

Senay is passionate about building rapport with clients and creating a space where individuals can feel comfortable to speak about their mental health and work through difficult experiences in a safe and caring environment.
