Sarah Hill
Clinical Psychologist
Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist who works with adults with a range of presentations including, but not limited to, low mood, anxiety, addiction, offending behaviour, personality disorders, and trauma. She is passionate about working closely with her clients to create a therapeutic environment where they feel safe, understood, respected, and comfortable to explore their experiences and achieve their goals.
Sarah’s approach is warm, empathic, and collaborative, and believes that the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. She is adaptive and responsive to her client’s needs and often uses a trauma-informed framework, meaning she is attuned to the impact of past experiences and prioritises safety, choice, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process. Sarah’s style is grounded in evidence-based practice, drawing on a range of modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), that is tailored to each person’s individual needs.
Sarah has worked in a variety of clinical settings including custodial environments, community alcohol and other drug (AOD) services, hospitals, and private practice. Sarah has particular experience supporting those navigating challenges related to emotional regulation, interpersonal difficulties, identity crises, and problematic behaviours.
In addition to her clinical work, she is also a Board-Approved Supervisor and is passionate about supporting early-career psychologists in growing their confidence and developing their clinical skills and professional identity.
