Louis Sullivan

Psychologist

Louis is a registered psychologist who works with adolescents (12+) and adults, with a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). He also enjoys working with those navigating life transitions, as well as women in the antenatal period and parents adjusting to the early stages of family life.

His approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and he is interested in further developing his skills in Schema Therapy to support deeper and more enduring change. He is comfortable exploring the fundamental questions of life, including meaning, identity, and mortality.

He is particularly interested in helping people identify and work through longstanding patterns that can hold them back from living more fully and realising their potential. He takes a thoughtful and reflective approach to therapy, balancing practical strategies with deeper exploration. He aims to provide a calm, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where clients feel genuinely understood, can make sense of their experiences, and experience meaningful relief from the challenges they are facing.

Works With:

• Anxiety and stress
• Depression and low mood
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• Life transitions and adjustment
• Antenatal wellbeing and early parenting
