Katrina Foster

Clinical Psychologist

Katrina is a Clinical Psychologist who completed a Master of Clinical Psychology through La Trobe University. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and has experience with adolescents and adults in private practice and public intervention settings. Katrina’s approach is anchored in a person-centred approach, with a commitment to creating a space that is tailored to each individual’s unique situation, and a strong focus on compassion and understanding.

Katrina provides a safe space for exploration and curiosity, and has experience to address complex issues in a collaborative and supportive environment. Katrina works with a range of presentations, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, stress, phobia, anger, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, obsessive compulsive disorder, relationship challenges, addiction and trauma related disorders such as PTSD. Katrina also has experience in sleep concerns, chronic pain, and chronic fatigue management.

Katrina works with the individual to tailor therapy to meet the needs of her clients and draws upon a variety of evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention, Mindfulness and emotional literacy and regulation concerns.
