Clinical Psychologist
Chanel is a Clinical Psychologist who completed her Master of Clinical Psychology degree at The University of Sydney. She has experience working with young and adult clients from multiple ethnicities, religions and LGBTIQA+ communities.
Chanel has worked in private clinics, university settings, and correctional facilities. She has an interest in supporting individuals facing a variety of challenges, including Anxiety Disorders, Depression Disorders, Eating Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, anger management difficulties and grief.
Chanel takes a warm, client-centered approach, valuing each person’s unique experiences and challenges. She recognises the importance of developmental influences and the biopsychosocial factors that shape mental health across the lifespan, ensuring a compassionate and holistic approach to care.
Chanel tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, among others.
