Alex Portelli

Provisional Psychologist

Alexandra is a provisional psychologist in her final year of completing a Master of Professional Psychology at La Trobe University. Alexandra also has a Master of Social Work and has had experience working with individuals experiencing family violence and childhood trauma in community organisations as a Social Worker.

Alexandra is passionate about working with individuals across all ages including but not limited to people experiencing anxiety, depression, people experiencing relationship/marriage difficulties, postpartum challenges, self-esteem difficulties and trauma.
Alexandra is trained in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and works within a person-centred framework. She believes that with the right support and insight, people have the capacity to work toward their personal goals and experience fulfilment alongside their difficult circumstances.

Alexandra aims to provide a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental, and confidential space where clients can openly explore personal challenges or concerns, deepen their understanding of themselves, and develop the capacity to manage current stressors.

Tuesdays: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Fridays: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Every 2nd Saturday: 8:00am - 1:30pm
